Obtaining her black belt at the age of 15 she was the European Kata Champion twice and has competed in both individual and team kumite at both national and international levels in countries across Europe and Great Britain. Terina even appeared on a BBC programme demonstrating karate!

These days Terina prefers to take part in other sports such a mountain biking and skiing, which she has done across Europe and Canada – with the Rockies being her favourite….she can also be found on the treadmill at home following lockdown! As a little bit of an adrenaline junkie, Terina also rode motocross and had her own motocross bike, until a few injuries persuaded her that a glass of red and chilling by a log fire after a walk in the countryside was really the more adult way to progress!

Terina can regularly be found supporting her 11 year old son playing rugby union and taking part in his many sporting activities.
