Employees who were made redundant following Ideal Shopping Direct, or otherwise known as Create and Craft, going into administration could receive up to 90 days’ pay, in addition to any redundancy payments.
We are supporting those employees who have been made redundant from Ideal Shopping Direct to pursue a protective award claim they may have.
A protective award is an award of compensation that you will be entitled to if you were not consulted with adequately prior to your redundancy. Your employer should have consulted with either a recognised trade union or employee representatives prior to your redundancy and followed the correct procedures. This means that a formal consultation should have happened with notice of 30-45 days prior to your redundancy. This rule still applies in cases of administration.
